Barred Owls can be found throughout most of the United States. They tend to live close to bodies of water where they can find fish, frogs, and cray fish (aka crawdads) although all small rodents are on the menu as well. If you listen at night, you may hear them calling for some kitchen help. “Who cooks for you? Who cooks for you all?”
